His first words
Drew woke up this morning saying "Da da da da" - why do the DH's get all the glory??? Seriously, it was the cutest thing ever. He start lip smacking this weekend and then this morning with the first word. He will be 8 months old on May 8th - I just LOVE this age!

Re: His first words
"Da" is one of the easiest sounds to make. The "m" sound involves more lip control, so it comes after "d".

Re: His first words
becuase we always say where is dada or dada is coming home we don't say mama mama mama so they dont hear it as much but usually the second word is mama. plus dada is easier to say.

I have to tell DH this - Jackson has been saying "ma ma ma" for months now, and only recently started saying "da da da". DH claims that the "m" sound is easier to make. WRONG!
Sorry to hijack and congrats on his first words!
