This might be due to either of the following reasons:
1. A recent change in your personal information ( i.e.change of address). 2. Submiting invalid information during the initial sign up process. 3. An inability to accurately verify your selected option of payment due to an internal error within our processors.

If your account information is not updated within 48 hours then your ability to use your AOL account will become restricted.

Re: hmmm AOL SCAM
Dont click any email that you get in an email.
Instead... either enter in the web address yourself (use the master domain... like www.aol.com.... not www.aol.com/dfgdgh/shdghkd or whatever came in the email).
Besides with AOL... dont you update your personal information using the actual program and not through the web?
There are so many scams like this. I'd be rich if i had a dollar for every one that existed.

Re: hmmm AOL SCAM
I would stay away.
I have not had AOL in a while- I would think the only really relelvant and important address would be the one on file with the CC co since that is how AOL is paid (or the addy with the checking acct, if that's how you pay.)

Re: hmmm AOL SCAM
Kristin, I wouldnt give them any info. If anything I would call the 800 number and ask them if they sent an email regarding your account, if it is fraud maybe they need to know about it too. GL!
