hmmmm wierd dr apt today and confused?

at my 38 week apt my dr. told me i tested pos for strep b....so of course i was reading about it and although it is common when my water breaks i need to go right to the hospital for the iv antibiotics. I was bummed because I wanted to labor at home....fast forward to this week almost 39 weeks and he said they made an error in my chart that I was neg for strep b....ah ok I am like " are you sure can I see my results" so he showed them to me and it was my name blah blah blah.....

do i take his word or get tested again even though maybe i can't becuase I am so close???


WWYD???????? is this a big deal?

are they gonna switch my child at birth???

I would ask to get tested again just for reassurance. Its just a simple swab test, should not be a problem, better for piece of mind.

testing again couldn't hurt . . worst thing is they think you're annoying and your safety is more important than that!

That said. . all the research shows that having strep B is not really that big of a risk for transmission but better safe than sorry for sure!!!!!!!!
