Holiday Gift Ideas for Parents
I asked this question before but it was very specific because I thought I knew what to get now I am second guessing myself so I am looking for some ideas.
Both my parents and my ILs watch my DD during the week. My ILs 2 times a week and my parents either 1x or 2x. Plus they watch her whenever we need them to--whether that is drive to our house that is 30 mins away no matter what.
Anyway--I am looking to get both sets of parents the same gift this year and I want to spend at least $500 per set of parents. I feel that they are providing my DD with great care and saving my DH and I alot of money for daycare. That being said I was thinking of doing a Bed and Breakfast out east but keep going back and forth about it. We do not want to do a weekend in the city because we have done that before for them when we were first married.
Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone else in the same situation and have a good idea! THanks if you got this far!! TIA Corinne

Yes my parents, well my mom watches my daughter 5days/wk while I work f/t.
So I send them on vacation.
Could you do something like that? Put the $500 together and Maybe do a weekend getaway?

That is what we are leaning towards but I guess we don't really know where to send them.
By the way your DD is adorable

Re: Holiday Gift Ideas for Parents
We spent $$$ last year and as a last minute thing I made them photo books of DS. This year, they all said no gifts, just the photo books, so that is what I am doing.

Re: Holiday Gift Ideas for Parents
Thank you!
Atlantic City? a hotel and some gambling? Connecticut? Boston? Out to LI vineyards?
For $250 I would consider a nice bag for the ladies and a nice watch for the men?
Something they wouldnt go out and purchase themselves. Ya know?
