Holiday gifts-who all do you give to at school and aftercare?
I am trying to come up with a list of people to give GC's to for DS's school and aftercare. Who all do you include-apart from the class teacher and aide? The gym, art, music teachers? The school office staff? the bus driver? At the after care, his teachers keep changing from day to day. There are at least 4-5 teachers plus the prog director. Would it be ok to bring in some eatables for them all to share-like one of those gift baskets with multiple candy bars/coffee flavors? Thanks-this is all so new to me with my first DS in school.

I think something for all to share is a great idea. This way it covers everyone. I am a teacher and sometimes parents will send in a tray of bagels with cream cheese & butter or a tray of cookies, etc. and it gets put in the Faculty Room with the note. It's nice...no one gets left out.

Thanks! I will do that for his aftercare teachers-its good to know that teachers don't get offended by having to share. What to do about the school teachers? I will ask the other moms as to what they are doing.

Preschool they usually did a group collection, which made it easy. Now that he's in kindergarten I feel I need to gift his teacher, the assistants and the bus driver. I'm thinking maybe $25 for his teacher, $15 for the assistants and $20 for the bus driver. But I honestly have no idea what the norm is.
