Holiday Party - at a coworker's home
what to wear? some people are bringing kids, so i know it won't be too dressy. it's on a saturday afternoon at 3pm
i'm thinking nice jeans, burgundy satin top with black blazer? or a sweater dress with boots? any ideas?

The sweater dress with boots sounds nice. That way, you avoid the risk of being the one person who showed up wearing jeans.
