Holiday Party for Mom's with Date Poll - Update 11/12
Okay, so we have 48 possible people on the list. It will most likely be at the J&R Steakhouse in StonyBrook. There are so many people from Suffolk and almost everyone from Nassau/Queens is willing to travel.
J&Rs is cheap and a great place to hang out.
Here are some possible dates. We must have at least 25 people for the party room just so you know.
Once we all vote, we can figure out if we want it to be a luncheon or dinner.

I voted for saturday 12/13 but can also do 12/12 or 12/14. I hate to be a PIA but maybe we should also post when we can go as many people will be able to go on more than one date

I assume that the Friday would be evening but what about Sat & Sun? If majority votes for Sat or Sun would it be lunch or dinner?

Yes, Friday would be evening.
If we picked a Sat or Sun, we would then figure out the best time for everyone, whether it be lunch or dinner.
I couldn't fit everything on the poll.

i voted for the 12th. it's 3 days after my birthday and it would be PERFECT to hang out with my LIF peeps for it
edit to add.. any of those would be good.
for sat. it would help if we could do a late afternoon i have work till 4. sunday anytime

My birthday is the 11th...so the weekend after might not be good. But I dont know what the DH has planned.
But then again it might be fine....
And JRs is perfect for me.....

I prefer a Friday night...Sat is family day and Sunday my DH works.
I chose Dec 12th.

I'm still OK with all of those votes.
FYI...there's 2 other J&R's that might be a little closer for the Nassau girls. One's on 112 right off of 495. Stonybrook is fine for me though.
Actually now that I think about it it's about the same distance so nevermind...lol.
