Holiday Party Ideas
Hi all,
I have to plan my company's holiday party for this year. I need suggestions on places. I'm looking for a bartype atmosphere but where we can either have the whole bar to ourselves or a roped off section. I'm looking just to do cocktails and appetizers for about 40 people or so. I work in Plainview so preferrably some place near there???
Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Holiday Party Ideas
We had one at the Library Cafe in Farmingdale one year. They have an upstairs part that was just for our party and it was lots of fun. There was also karaoke, and that was great!

Re: Holiday Party Ideas
The Main Event in Plainview. I had my DH's 40th there and it was exactly how you described. They were great. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Talk to Alex or Mike the owners. They have a beautiful horseshoe shaped bar too and they can give you one side of the restaurant.
