Holiday Party...What to wear?
What should I wear to a holiday party in a physician's home that he hosts for employees, residents, etc.?

I love velvet things in jewel tones at the holidays- I have this one dress that I love (and will keep forever even thought it may never fit me again!)

I was thinking a nice holiday color (deep red or green or gold ) top and black dress pants, nice shoes
Or is this too fancy
