Love that show! We've gone so many times - always a great time!
eta. if the lines are extremely long & it's cold, if you sign up for a membership, it pays for the cost of the tickets, parking & gets you ahead of the line!

Membership to the Botanical Gardens?
We have a membership to the Wildlife Fund or something like that (Bronx Zoo, Aquarium, and I forget what else). That isn't the same, is it?

No I don't think so - we don't get into the botanical gardens with that membership.

If you join the Bronx zoo you get unlimited admission there - plus, the NY Aquarium (brooklyn), the Central Park zoo, Queens zoo and Prospect park zoo. It is definitely worth joining - and you can save a lot if you use it. There are different level memberships - we got one that was $130 (20$ off coupon) and we get unlimited admission to all the above, unlimited admission to the extra charge items at the bronx zoo (carousel, monorail, congo, butterfly tent, tram, etc) and you get 4 free parking passes (worth $10 or so each) that get you into either the Bronx zoo or the NY aquarium parking - so that is $40 worth right there. It also gets you 10% off food and beverage in the parks and 10% I think off items at the gift shops.
It doesn't include the NY botanical gardens though.
