Holidays - hosting

Just curious - would you rather host your first holiday in a new home 6 months preggo OR with a newborn?

I'm debating about Thanksgiving, thinking once the baby comes in Jan. it'll be hard to host for the first time over the next few months.

Neither!! Chat Icon But if I had to choose... do it when your pregnant. I wouldn't want so many people with possible germs/illnesses bringing them into my home and possibly getting the baby sick. HTH! Chat Icon

Def. 6 months pregnant. A newborn (depending on how young) takes up alot of your time and you have less time to prep/clean, etc. because your schedule revolves around them and what they need.

I hosted Mother's Day when DD was 1 month old and that was stressful-and it was only 10 people!

totally agree! I hosted Thanksgiving for 30 people at 31 weeks pregnant...needless to say it literally knocked me out for 3 days after.
