Holistically-Inclined Pediatrician Recommendations in Great Neck Vicinity?

Hello mamas,


To those of you who already have children, who can recommend a fantastic pediatrician in the Great Neck/Manhasset area? Or if especially superb...an MD no more than 20 minutes away by car or taxi?

I'm looking for a provider who will honor my wishes to spread out vaccinations via multiple visits rather than insisting that 5-7 vaccinations ALL be bucketed all in ONE visit --- as my current MD has alarmingly insisted upon before my little man has even reached six weeks old.

Other pluses:

--- Providers who practice holistic/osteopathic care.
--- Open a decent range of hours. (Our current MD is only open M, Tu, Th, F with no evening hours.)
--- Sweet staff demeanors
--- Separate waiting areas for sick vs healthy kids.(Our current MD treats both adults and children...all of whom sit in the same not so sanitized looking lobby.)

Note that my fella and I are not anti-vacc...in fact we both nabbed precautionary DTaPs to prep for baby ...but we def don't believe in bombasting a newborn's wee body and developing immune system with too many immunizations too soon. (My own mom insisted on the same when I was born and I turned out just fine.)

Congrats on your baby. I don't have a rec for your but did you do a search on here. I recall a pediatrician who might fit the bill of what you are looking for, being discussed in Mineola ?
