Hollywood, Florida area and hotels
Has anyone been here? Thinking of visiting my parents and staying in this area for a few days. Last time we stayed in Delray and want to try something different.

We were going to stay here when we almost cancelled our PR trip back in March.

Re: Hollywood, Florida area and hotels
We JUST booked the brand new Margaritaville Beach Resort in Hollywood.
It looks AMAZING and gets great reviews. And the price isn't bad for the type of resort it is, rooms, amenities, etc

I really want to stay at this hotel. We are going a holiday weekend and they are sold out other than on Booking.com. It is $400 a night. We are trying to decide but know we want to walk the boardwalk and venture out so trying to figure out if we are better off somewhere cheaper. But we will visit resort for sure!

Oh that stinks! I think we are going over Columbus day weekend and the rates were pretty good on their website direct. But that's probably not a popular 'Holiday" weekend

I know I'm nuts going in summer, but we are going next week. We are visiting my parents and wanted to separate the trip with staying somewhere for a few days so it turned out next week. I am a hotel snob too. I try to stay at the best places when going away and book the cheapest rooms. It does look beautiful. And it's new! Gets awesome reviews on Trip Advisor.

Yes, as awesome as the pictures! We were upgraded to oceanfront. The view is amazing. So worth it. They were very crowded when we went, 4th of July weekend. The people that work there are unbelievable. The rooms were wonderful. The beach was amazing. Loved it. Felt like we were in the Caribbean. We will be going back. I've been all over the Caribbean, Hawaii and we were not expecting this to be what it was. Highly recommend!!!!
If you want to FM me with any questions, feel free.

Thanks so much for the review. I am so excited to go now! I am so picky with hotels. We don't go away often so when we do I like the best. If I think of anything I will FM you. We aren't going until October so I am sure I will come up with questions as it gets closer. Sounds amazing though!
