Mine was either 175 or 165 at my 9 week appt. I have to check my journal for the right number. Either way I remember my doctor saying it was ok and it was nothing to worry about.

Early on it's normal for the baby to have a high heart rate..as they get bigger it starts to go down.

when i was about 10 weeks with this pregnancy the hb was 198!  the tech told me it was the highest hes ever seen and to hold on and ask the dr right then and there.. he came back and the dr said totally OK this early in the pregnancy.
if its that high late in the pregnancy its a sign of distress.
it eventually went down to 170's by my 12 week sono now its btwn 150-160

That's normal. The hb starts out high and then stablizes later on.

Yup, mine was as high as 180 in those early days. Now it's usually in the 140s.

Yup, mine was as high as 180 in those early days. Now it's usually in the 140s.
I agree; mine was 169 at 11w2d, and 162 at 12w4d

At 9 weeks both babies were 158 and 161. It sounds normal to me.

My  was in the 180s at 8 weeks.
Now its in the high 150s
Dr said it was normal!

At 8 wks it was 185 for us. The doc and tech said that was just fine.
I'm sure it will go down a little bit when we head back for our 12 wk sono.
