Holy Ear Wax Batman....
Emma has a BOATLOAD of ear wax coming out of and in one ear. the other one is crystal clear....
i try to clean it off (it's all over her ear and on part of her cheek) - but it's VERY hard and i'd have to scrub the living daylights out of her....which would cause her to scream...
we're going to give her a bath tonight - but is there anything i can do between baths?
also - is this normal??????

Our pediatrician asked us to use Debrox in DS's ears once a week because his is always full of wax whenever we take him in for a visit. It doesn't hurt to check with your pediatrician and see what they have to say.

i tried this and it didn't work at all....

have you mentioned it to the ped? What color is it?? Maybe its an infection or something else going on???

hadn't noticed it until after we saw the doc. i am expecting a call back from them for another reason....so i'll ask...
it's white....it looks like dry skin - but it's around her ear and feels icky....so i KNOW it's not dry skin.
the other ear is CRYSTAL clear!

oh ok so its not like dark yellow or green.... Its probably normal. Just mention it to him

Jess - Can it possibly be formula?
Sometimes, somehow Samantha gets formula dribbled down her neck, into her hair behind her ears... I can't quite figure out how she does that though!

We had the same issue. It's much better than what we used to have to go - have the pediatrician scrap it out with that metal thing.
