HOLY FLOODING!!!!
Our street is filling up with water as I watch it. The river is just flowing in!! I can't believe how fast. I went out to move my car down the block and by the time I walked back down, the whole street was covered. And this isn't even high tide yet, high tide is not til 5 pm. We are in for a very watery evening!!! My landlady is apologizing to me, I said, its not your fault.

Lindenhurst! It is really bad now. DH and I just got back from the store and it is up to our knees. Some dummy thought his car was invinsible and now he is sitting in the middle of the road stuck because its so deep. This is worse than two weeks ago when we had all that rain.

There is a lot of flooding here too! We can't even get to my DH's grandparents - they live on the beach with one road in and it's totally flooded!
Did you wave to the ding-dong that got his car stuck

He was funny, like looking for help. Umm, yea sure let us pull our car down to jump you so we can all be stuck together!! He needs to call a tow truck asap, because the water just keeps rising.

I remember when I lived in Lindenhurst the flooding was horrible. On rainy days I knew not to even bother trying to get all the way to my house. I would park the car blocks away, roll up my pants and walk home. 
Keep your chin up and it will all go away soon!!!
