Holy heat wave!
Are any of you ladies as miserable as I am? I feel like I'm melting, and my husband and kids keep complaining how cold it is in the house and to me it doesn't even feel like the AC is on!

Me, mainly b/c my a/c is barely working. Our main one keeps shutting itself off.

It's awful. I have really not been feeling well at all. I am trying to drink a ton but it never seems enough. Taking the subway is brutal. I almost turned around and went home today instead of going into work. I'm so lucky I only work 4 days in the summer, I need a day where I don't have to move at all.

This summer is BRUTAL. I really can't stand it. This summer has the be the hottest in years, right? I'm dreaming about snow and ice.

honestly i don't know why i'm not having more trouble with the heat. i'm due in 12 days. but so many of my friends are miserable -- 
it's a hard time of year to be pregnant.

Holy heat wave!
I love it! I'm 38 weeks Saturday and I honestly can't complain! I'm a little uncomfortable at night, even with the a/c and fan, but the heat is the least of my discomfort LOL but I've always loved the heat.
Hope all of you who are uncomfy hang in there!

Holy heat wave!
Crashing, but this was me two years ago. I thought the ac in our bedroom was broken, my poor DH was always huddled under the sheets in a ball and never told me it was just me. We brought DS home from the hospital and I was like, why is it so cold in here?

I'm 34 weeks and so far I can't say that I'm miserable... Yet... But I am starting to feel uncomfortable. I'm doing okay so far since all I'm doing is laying on the couch drinking water... Keep cool ladies!!!

DD was born in Oct and I was miserable. DH said he could see his breath... meanwhile I felt as if I were melting! I wore summer clothes right up until I delivered!

i've been pretty miserable too. Between the walk to the subway and then the subway itself the AC is just not strong enough!!! My boss yelled at me for just going to grab a sandwich in the heat yesterday

How far did u have to walk?? I walked to my car, and that was brutal!
3 blocks...just to walk down into the sauna and wait for the train ugh. Looking forward to the big move to LI this weekend but now I have to figure out how im getting from penn to my office 11blocks away in this heat

This past week has been horrible. I have to sleep with the ac blasting on me, and I haven't even been sleeping next to DH because he is giving off too much heat and it makes me feel like I'm on fire.
I'm only 19 weeks, I feel so bad for the ladies further along than me hauling around bigger bellies.

As someone else said, the heat is the last thing making me uncomfortable. At 33w trying to fall asleep and BH are my main complaints.
Just keep drinking that water. I went to visit a friend in the hospital yesterday who had her baby early and she said that they had 17 babies born that day due to the heat.

I f****** hate it! I was pregnant with my DD in the summer as well--- I can take a few days but 6 in a row is just AWFUL. And this is like the 3rd heat wave we had!!!!

crashing...I was 8-9 mos pregnant during one of the hottest summers (2010) it was not fun but just keep hydrated and in AC at all times if you can. Keep your feet up too since they might swell in this heat.

I'm definitely a warm weather person & prefer this to freezing temps & snow.
However, I can deal with the normal summer temps of 80-85 degrees MUCH better than 95-100 degrees! Happy this heat wave seems to finally be breaking.

Holy heat wave!
I was pregnant during Summer 2010, which was a nightmare too - I thought that was bad but this summer is WAY worse because I have a three year old that doesn't want to sit in AC all day. I feel so bad for her, I try to stick her in the pool with whoeever will take her LOL (my MIL, my sister). This weekend my MIL's pool was 94 degrees, I couldnt even find relief in there.
Luckily, my DH always runs hot so we don't argue about the AC, we are maxing it out at 60 degrees and high speed, with a tower fan also blowing on us LOL even our dog left us to go sleep in the warmer living room!
