Holy Hemorrhoids!! (TMI)
I'm 32w5d and OMG hemorroids are killing me!!! 
Anyone else going through this? Can you use anything to help them (ie preparation H)??
Damn constipation!

Have you tried to use Benefiber in tea twice daily with lemon?
A friend of mine lived on it and it helped her constipation entirely

I never used anything (mine weren't painful, just annoying) but what REALLY helped was using baby wipes when I went to the bathroom instead of toilet paper. Being gentle helps them heal faster. I would definitely try the Tucks too, that will be soothing.

My ob recommended colace, tucks, prep H and a SITZ bath once every few days (when they really hurt) the Colace keeps you from having hard poo's (tmi) and that will keep them from flaring up on you.

kathy - so sorry  this is one of my FEARS! luckily none yet but i still have 10 weeks to go ... and then DELIVERY!
can I ask, have you been constipated? do you think thats what causes them? im trying to avoid
i agree with PP, stool softeners and baby wipes! lots of fiber in your diet  feel better!

I had them around the same time as you... for absolutly no reason. My diet didn't change, I wasn't consitpated, nothing... I just dealt with it to be honest. But, when you go into delivery, and if you get them, the hospital will give you this amazing stuff, that makes the swelling go down, almost instantly. I would ask your doc if you could get that.... b/c I swear by that stuff now. lol

Thanks girls for all the suggestions  .
I wasn't constipated much during the pregnancy...only recently..but today for some reason my hemrroids are flared up and they actually hurt 
I'll talk to the doc this after noon when I see him about the stuff the hospital uses.

Is this what I have to look foward to?? I will be trying to eat alot of fiber one cereal and bars. Are hemorrhoids permanent, or do they go away?
