Holy inappropriate question Batman!
So DH tells me that nearly all of his friends have asked him if he's getting "snipped" after DD is born. 
Um, am I missing something? Is this a normal thing to ask your friends? DD will be our second child, I had no idea that 3 or 4 children was considered something extreme  
One of his friends, AFTER we told him DH was NOT getting snipped, had the audacity to ask me if I was getting my tubes tied.

how rude I really don't think people think sometimes you should have told him after you get snipped I will think of getting dh snipped or getting my tubes tied

I don't think it's totally inappropriate for a bunch of guys to talk about that, especially if they know each other well. However, it's not appropriate to talk about your tubes, and their state of being tied or not.
That topic has been brought up on occasion at work, usually among the guys in their mid to late 30s with multiple kids.
If that's the worst thing they talk about, they're pretty clean cut...

Wow really??
I guess my DH was surprised because he is only one of two guys in his circle of friends with kids. So he could not understand why they would care
And they are all in their late 20s, very early 30s... most are not even married yet.
Good to know there are worse things they could be talking about

I think guys talk about this more than we realize. DH asked his friend at work if he wanted anymore kids (they have two), and he said "No way! I am thinking of getting snipped." Then their other friend w/ two kids also said he was thinking about it. DH is very against the idea now, but after two or three I think he may be considering it himself. He says if we have three girls he will do it. Men

This is apparently normal guy talk  . DH has even had clients ask him if he plans to get snipped. Um hes 26 years old, why the heckk would he get snipped already!
Now I could see if your DH said "we aren't planning to have any more kids" and somebody asked after he said that, otherwise I just don't get it. I don't care if you have 50 kids and are 105, it's just a weird personal question.

That said, you should see the looks of  when I tell people I'd never make DH get snipped in case his future wife wants children.
