HOLY MOLY!!! Help me with my pond!!!!!
Ummmm - I came home from work this afternoon and my pond is EMPTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's about 6 inches of water left in it!!!DH put in a new pump over the weekend and I guess he must have punctured the lining! It was FINE Saturday, Sunday and this morning, I wonder WTH happened???
Now - the questions.... I am going to need to take the fish out, right? Can I fill up like a big bucket with hose water and put them in that? I'll have to use my kitchen garbage pail - that's the only thing large enough to hold the 13 koi that are in there right now. What if we are not able to get the liner replacement right away? How long can they stay in the bucket??? Where can we get a liner??? Does Dee's in Oceanside have them?
UGH!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The same thing happened to us. We started it up yesterday and we discovered this morning that we had a major leak. We put the hose in it to keep some water in it. I was told to get a bucket or put them in your bath tub. You should get it fixed ASAP though.
Oh my I just read they are koi. They should be fine because it is cold out and they really don't need that pump going right now. They can go a day like that but I wouldn't push it.

Dee's has everything for the pond. I would def go there. They might even know someone that can help you right away.

Do you have a waterfall and what kind of fish are they?
We just have a pump that circulates the water - nothing fancy like a waterfall (it's an ongoing battle with DH - I want it and he doesn't ) They are just large koi - I'm thinking we can just keep them in our kitchen garbage pail until we can fix it.
