Holy swollen feet!---Updated
The balls of my feet have been killing me all day. I couldn't figure out what I did. I just took off my socks and revealed to pork sausages....WOW...Now I know why my feet feel like they are going to explode...What can I do to relieve the swelling? It is the first time I have had swollen feet. My ankle's aren't swollen, just my feet. I have had them up most of the day and am drinking plenty of water....

Re: Holy swollen feet!
I decided to take my B/P and it was 138/83. It is usually 110/70...Should I be worried?

I would call your OB! How many weeks are you?
RELAX, emotions can increase your BP! Call just in case

fwiw I was told 140/90 is the BP threshold for pre-eclampsia plus protein in urine. Swelling, headaches and vision problems can all be signs of this. I would call your obgyn, they may tell you to go to L&D to be safe. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

I am 34 weeks....I know I am border line. I am going to call the office and wait for the on call dr. to call me back. I am laying in bed right now and then I am going to check it again. I have been under a lot of stress the past few days. That probably isn't helping..

my feet have been swollen since august. but my blood pressure is low, and i havent had any protein in my urine, so its alot of water retention.
you my dear..need to rest and get to the dr if your blood pressure is borderline. better to be safe than sorry!! I hope they call you asap!
feel better

They told me to lay down for a little while and re-check it. I did and my B/P went down to 129/77..Swelling has gone down a bit. Just have a rock hard belly now..
