Holy weight gain...I am going to be a beached whale

So I am 24 weeks and gained a whopping 26 pounds already! 9 of which were in the past 3 weeks alone! I vowed to the doctor that I was eating nothing but salad for the rest of the pregnancy and he said he guarantees I'll gain at least another 20 pounds in water and baby alone! I am so upset and depressed and angry with myself for taking the "I'm eating whatever I want" point of view thus far. How on earth am I going to lose all this???

I gained 58 with Emma... I lost all but 11 when I got pregnant with Jeremy. It can be done!!

I can relate. I'm up 25 pounds at 28 weeks. I know I'll be putting on another 10, maybe 15 pounds. I was hoping to gain 30 pounds max, but that's obviously out the window.

I think at that point I had gained about the same. I gained a total of about 50 lbs and lost it all.. its possible and I am proof of it! It takes time but you will!

- the extra lbs can also be due to the weather - even without trying you can retain lots of water right now! I gained a supposed 8 lbs in 2 weeks - only to 2 weeks later (which woulc be four weeks - have lost 3!) so don't let it get you down!

I feel your pain! After starting out this pregnancy by LOSING weight in my first trimester (due to M/S) .. I have now managed to really pack on the pounds

My weight gain was soooooooo slow at first .. BUt then as of my 26th week appointment I had somehow managed to gain a grand total of 28 pounds For me it was like a 'SPURT' ... in the 5 weeks in betwen my last two appointments I had gained something sick like 13 pounds ... I was soooo upset (even though my doctor was perfectly cool with this!)

I am really eating healthier now to try and slow down the gain from hereon out (I'm about 29 1/2 wks) but I have a feeling I'm looking at a 50 lb. gain before I deliver

I am determined to get this all off though , post partum! I dieted and lost about 35 pounds before getting my BFP so I know I can do it again
