In all fairness to some of today's Hollywood actresses, some of the icons of yesterday used to party as hard, drink as hard, and drug as hard as those of today. The only difference is that back in the day, there was no such thing as US and OK! and Hello! and all these other trashy rags who pay paparazzi for pictures of famous people tripping over themselves.
We as a society love to raise people up to a high level and yet get an even bigger kick out of seeing them fall from grace.

eh, maybe you are right. but the studios, their managers...everyone kept it under wraps.
now it's a nasty skanky free for all.
and no matter what, NONE of these ladies every went about with their punan's exposed for the world to see....

I don't give a hoot about their personal lives. I am a big fan of the way they carried themselves IN FRONT of the cameras.
they LOOK beautiful, classy, feminine...everything women say they want to look like today.
it's all smoke and mirrors anyway. but at least back then, they kept the dirt under the rug and the gizzz OFF their faces in front of the world.
they had allure. mystique. very few woman have that today (my Bella Bellucci is one of the few)
