Home buyers- tip
I have been looking on craigs list- it's not a fun as MLS- but the people selling their homes- many for sale by owner
seem to be alittle more desparate and while it isn't as easy to sort through
it's worth looking at- it might open your eyes up to something you wouldn't find any where else
I started doing this b/c I found the westchester MLS very annoying- and I found my dream house on craigs list- I hope it's still on the market in the spring when we are closer to being ready
just alittle tip

we wound up finding ours in Newsday...and DH is a real estate agent...lots of sellers looking to sell...

I noticed a few good deals in newsday also- (I wished we were still looking on the south shore!)
sometimes you have to think outside of the "box" or MLS
