HOME FROM COSTA RICA!
We just got home last night from the most amazing trip we have ever taken. We waited so long to have our honeymoon and it really was worth the wait! I am honestly happy to be home with our pets though :)
We were gone for 9 days the first 3 days we spent in the rain forest at tabacon which is a natural hot spring made by the volcano. This place really is a 5 star resort everything was perfect. there are about 20-30 hot springs you can go in so most of the time we had our own hot spring. Then they have two pools with swim up bars that are also very hot but those are man made! It was amazing, I have never been to anywhere like this. While we were there we did white water rafting class 2 and 3. It was honestly really fun but scary LOL John fell out of the raft and that scared me to death but he was fine thank god. We also had a romantic dinner in a private bungalow with our own chef. The food was amazing
Next we went to the beach called playa conchal and stayed at paradisus an all inclusive resort. The ride was about 4 hours from tabacon and we saw some amazing animals on the way like wild monkeys!! we also stopped at a wildlife reserve where they rescue wild animals that were hurt. It was really awesome. When we got to paradisus we were bumper to royal service so that was awesome. We had a butler and some other perks like a Royal service pool etc. This hotel was amazing also, right on the beach and was a nice change from the rain. At the resort we did a 2 hour ATV tour which was just us and the guide, it was awesome and we saw some amazing things. We also took a 6 hours sunset cruise out of tamindo beach. It was so amazing and there were only 6 people on it. We snorkeled in a cove and saw amazing things. For about 20 minutes we had dolphins following us doing jumps etc, it was amazing to see them in the wild like that.
The last night we stayed in the city of san jose before flying out and that was awesome to see the city. Our hotel was a small boutique hotel with an amazing restaurant and it had a terrace with hot tubs that we made a great use out of haha
Costa rica is the most amazing country I have ever been to. It is beautiful and all the people are very welcoming. We felt very safe the whole time even ventured out into town and eating at small places on the side of the road! YUM!
On the way home our car service stopped at mama lombardis for us since we had no food in the house and we saw Anne from anne and chris on here haha and she was so sweet so that was cool even though we looked gross from traveling all day :)

We went to CR for our honeymoon too. It was amazing. Love Tabacon and the hot springs!!

We went to Costa Rica in Jan. We went to Tabacon one night to go in the springs it was awesome. Costa Rica is amazing. Glad you enjoyed your honeymoon!!
