Home inspection did great, but some little stuff needs to be fixed. Is that my responsibility?

I had my home inspection today and the house is in great shape. Other than 1 electrical issue which I am addressing, all other issues were minor. For example, one electrical outlet isn't grounded, a cover needs to be placed on a live wire, gas burner needs a routine servicing, toilet is a little loose and needs to be bolted a little more, chimney needs a cover.....minor things that need to be addressed, but nothing serious.

Are these things my responsibility to get fixed or the seller's responsibility to get fixed?

Those were the same things that were wrong with our house when we bought it. Our lawyer said it was our responsibility, because you can't trust the sellers to do that kind of work.

You can request any repair you want. Your lawyer can put it in the contract. It will then go to the sellers attorney, and they can decide if the will make the repairs.

I see those things as so minor I wouldnt even ask about fixing them cause it will cost you next to nothing to do it yourself.

And honestly if a buyer asked me to screw a toilet tighter I'd laugh.
