we are in the process of purchasing our first home...the day of our inspection was the day we found out that we're expecting!!
I'm a little nervous that we will be going through haveing our first home (and paying for it) and having our first child around the same time. We will prob be living in the house about 6 months by the time baby is born. Then we will have the added expenses of day care and baby supplies on top of our mortgage and my loans! 
but, we are happy we found the home just in time for baby  It will be tough but we will make it work

Rent a 2 bedroom apartment. Just for another year because I didn't want to have to worry about moving/house hunting while really pregnant or with a new born.

We are in the process now of house hunting for another home. We own a home in SC that we rent out and we rent up here but have been looking for a home now for about 6-9 months. So far nothing has really caught us.

Own a condo, and are closing on our house the end of this month! I was 3 months PG when our offer on the house was accepted. We'll have been in the house 2 mos. when  arrives. Glad to be doing this all while PG and not with a newborn!

We own a small 3 bedroom house. Looking to get something with a little more square footage in the near future... hopefully by the summer, after  is born.

just bought injuly 08...
in some ways, i wish we were still renring because we would have more money which would enable me to stay home with the baby for a bit longer.

we rent a 2 bedroom right now but are house hunting. we're not in a rush though and are taking our time finding the right house. its a 2 bedroom so we have the space for when the baby comes just in case.

We are home owners. Really the bank owns the house - just kidding kinda. I am so happy to own a home. I grew up in an apartment and thought it was great but it's so nice to have a house.

Home owners, but not proud. I wish we didn't get a townhouse and waited a little longer to save more money. This place feels SO SMALL now!! I just want a friggin' basement at least!!

Own.. but, wish we had held out a few years and rented. We bought a starter house.. one bedroom.. Well we lost SOOO much on it in the past 5 years that we now have to make this house work, with no extensions for the forseeable future.. Stupid economy.

We bought our first house when we got married, a small fixer upper in '05. We recently built a house in Sayville and have been here for about a year! (My husband's a builder) so he's always looking for the next good deal. I told him we're absolutely not moving again!! hehe

we're renters of a nice sized 2 bedroom (the only small room is the kitchen).
we love it here and until we are ready do not see moving into a house until we have the money to do so (and the market is better). we have a HUGE basement and plenty of room...could NOT love our landlord more and the area is wonderful.

We own a 3 bedroom... and i love being a homeowner.. and i love the tax refund!!! I would like to eventually buy a bigger house... but that is in the future...
