Home remedy for diaper rash?!
ok I ran out of triple paste & told my DH to bring it home on his way home from work....in the meantime my DS has a horrible diaper rash from the antibiotics he's taking....I heard something about soaking in a warm bath w/oatmeal? anyone know if this is right or any other quick home remedies?? TIA!

wash him off , blow dry his bum with light light cool air. when he is totally dry glob on the aquphor, try to make the diaper a little lose.......and tell yout husband to get home with that triple paste

Don't laugh, but baby powder. I always thought Aquaphor was the best, but a few weeks a go Benji got a really bad rash and nothing worked. My Mom kept on saying use Baby Power, but I was hesitant.
Well, it turned out Mother does know best. The rash completely disappeared in 2 days during which I didn't use anything else on him, only BP.

I swear by baby powder now too. We used Triple Paste for almost 6 weeks and she never cleared up. I was finally at my wits end and decided to go with what they used in the "old days" and it worked like a charm. It's all I use now.
