Home sick with a sore back
I think I hurt my back in spinning class last Wed. It started hurting Fri or Sat, and today it was the worst. I am so stiff and I have trouble rounding out my back. It's my lower back (the small). I've been doing Motrin, heating pad on and off, and Bengay.
Is there anything else I can do to speed up recovery? How should I sit when I sit up? How about lying down?I've been doing a pillow under my knees when I lay on my back sleeping, but I seem to wake up so stiff in the mornings and can hardly move.

I wish I had some advice for you but I don't I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should go see a Dr. if it doesn't get better soon

Try rotating the heat with an ice pack. Feel better Also see if you can lay on your side with a pillow between your knees.

Re: Home sick with a sore back
you should use an ice pack for 20 minutes every hour - the heat may make the pain worse
