how much does homeowner's insurance cost, give or take?

we're hoping to get a 3br / 2 bath house in levittown. no pool, no fireplace.

what should i expect to be paying?

There's a few more factors that go into it then that such as square footage, type of heat (and if oil if the take is above ground) if you have any additional riders for engagement and wedding rings (or other jewelry) and the amount of coverage you have overall. (Different companies base property coverage on different rebuild rates)

With that being said, I have a levitt cape, no structural additions, but I do have an extra 1/2 bath. Without my riders for jewelry I pay just under 1K a year through Travelers insurance. I also have my car and umbrella policies through them so I get a slight discount for that.

Thanks so much for responding. I was also quoted what you're paying (just under a thousand per year) with State Farm (i have my car insurance with them too).

We have a 4br, no fireplace, no pool, etc and its $1200 through Narragansett Bay. It was the chapest we found. It might be because it's through our car inso co who is a carrier for them.
