Honda Owners!

Anyone have problems with their windows? My windows seem to come off track and get stuck at least twice a year - both sides!! Happened again this morning to the passenger side - I'm really sick of this!Chat Icon

Re: Honda Owners!

I have had a lot of problems with my honda accord. I bought it used 1 1/2yr ago, its a 2003. THe rear passanger window didnt work with the driver control (took it back 2x to fix it) and i just had a leak in my trunk. They had to reaplace the entire quarter pannel. I had the "courtesey car" for 2 weeks.
Its a real hassle. im going to start looking for a new car before something else happens.

No, thank goodness. Would that be covered under your warranty?

YES! My automatic windows are constantly getting stuck, esp. in winter! I have to actually pull the glass up with my hands!

not a Honda owner but just wanted to say that my Dad had a Maxima and since day 1 had problems with the windows. DH has a Subaru and he also had a window issue.

so it's definitely not just a Honda thing

Mine's a '99 but the windows have been bad for years.

I think mine also might be a track issue--it comes up all crooked.

Yeah - that's the whole thing that happens - they go off track, get crooked and stuck!! Sometimes I can't pull them up!!!! Got mine pulled up today and there's a little crack open on side and it's going to rain inside and I don't care right now cause it's not the driver's side - lol.

Same here.

Sorry this is happening - there's nothing the dealer has been able to do for you?

Re: Honda Owners!

My civic has never had a problem and its an '01 but DH's accord which is an '03 has a little bit of a window "stalling" problem here and there. He opens and closes the door and it fixes itself.

I have a 2000 civic and over the winter the driver side window just "fell" off the track . we had to take it to get it fixed. the mechanic had to open up the door and everything. better not happen again Chat Icon
