Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
I attended a R&F party last night, and was impressed by the sellers before and after pictures.
It's just the products are SO expensive and they push the Preferred customer prices which are still high and you do need to then make future purchases (plus pay the extra 20).
I was interested in the microdermabrasion paste and the eye cream, pore toner, etc.... If I were to buy the 3 items, that's over $350.00 right there (including the preferred customer one time fee)
The seller was great. Not pushy at all. I took the info with me and her card and told her I'd think about it.
Anyone us the products and have reviews? Is if worth it? I have pretty good skin but I AM 41, and things are showing up on my face that weren't there before! LOL
If you are a seller, please refrain from commenting. Not that I don't value a sellers opinion since I know they wouldn't sell unless they liked the product. I just want opinions from the average joe like me who is just spending the money (not making any money out of the products!)

Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
I have been using the reverse regimen for a lil less than 2 months. I think it is a great skincare line but........ I do not think it is a miraculous product.I probably will not buy it again once I run out. To me, it is no different than any other skin care regimen out there and the price is rridiculous imo. Some people swear by it. Just giving my honest experience. Not worth the money and don't see any amazing changes (and I do not even have bad skin at all).

Re: Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
My friend sells this.
She recently had me over for a party and there was nothing she told me that could convince me to spend $350 on a skin regimen.
Hell, there was nothing she could say to convince me to pay 1/2 that.
I am also someone who is fairly natural anyway and does not spend a lot on beauty products.

Not worth it, I must have 70 friends who sell it and its all so scripted and a crock. Honestly, even the sell to get people to join the team. I had someone post that they got an ipad for their sales, it was "Look what came in the mail today" and then there was a pic of an ipad package opened on the coffee table. The next day, someone else that sells posted the SAME thing word for word and the same exact picture. So full of it. There is no product Id spend that kind of money on.

Re: Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
Total scam. Sorry...the things that product line promises are such obvious bullsh!t. A cream or serum will not get you those kind of results.

Re: Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
I am NOT a seller. I have been using the reverse regimen, macro derm paste and eye cream since December. I had really bad hyperpigmentation that only got worse with pregnancy. I tried a lot of other premium brands and nothing helped fad the dark spots. I had also tried a dermatologist prescribed lightening cream. With R&F it's the only thing that has lightened my skin. I still have some dark spots but it's less. My skin is also super soft and even.
Yes, it is super pricey. But to me it's worth it. I do agree the FB posts from presenters seems all very manufactured. I also love the paste. One tub lasts me 5 months, so it was worth it.
I wasn't thrilled with the eye cream and returned it for my money back.
Hope this helps!

Re: Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
I've used the reverse regimen 3x. 2 years ago I started it twice in a row and my skin tone, sun spots and freckles from the sun have definitely been diminished, if not gone. I stopped because I saw results and it got expensive. The beginning of this year I started again and my skin became better than before, but I can't afford another cycle. Now I will continue the upkeep with my regular regimen and out of the sun and sunscreen every single day, which I've always done, but more so to stop the freckles from coming back.. I've also done the blue line, for wrinkles. i forgot the name of the line. I hated it. Felt greasy and I saw nothing, no results.

Re: Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
I bought the redefine? I think that's what it is. For my forehead wrinkle. I have one deep wrinkle and it kills me. My SIL used the eye cream for crows feet and it worked for her. Almost 4 weeks later and absolutely no difference.

Re: Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
I love it. I have been using the Redefine line to keep the lines and wrinkles away. I didn't have a problem with them really, but as I got closer to 40, I wanted to keep it that way, so I'm using it as a preventative measure. My mother and grandmother's faces let me know that wrinkles could definitely be in my future!!
I sometimes forget to use it, or I'm too tired at night, so I'm sure my results could be better....but I'm more than pleased with the way it's working so far. I've notices a few of my lines getting better, and I haven't gotten any new.
The eye cream is fantastic...I ran out and have to get more because I notice that really makes a difference.
It is expensive....but I think it's worth it because I'm vain and I'm terrified of ever looking my age. I've gotten to used to people thinking I'm a student at work.....so it's worth it to me!

I've been using the soothe regimen for the last 2.5 years and my rosania has never been so under control, even while under the care of a dermatologist.

Same here. What's even funnier is the "before and after" pics they post, that are very obviously edited. The lighting, brightness, and glow editing tools are used. I can make my own pics looks flawless too, using my snapseed photo editing app. Someone actually called a girl out the other day on FB. and in one "before" pic, she was smiling, thus creating crows feet. The "after" was not smiling. I mean come on!!! There is no way the fading product 'unblemish' is working better on my melasma than my Rx Triluma, which is $100. I've gone to a party before and honestly was not impressed for that kind of price tag. Reminds me of the beach body "coaches". Today, 3 of them (who don't know one another), all posted the same link, fawning over it.

Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
I like Cosmedix (nope not a seller, it's not even part of a multi level marketing scheme). Check them out - look at real reviews online and on Amazon.
Cosmedix is the only thing I've bought that truly works wonders. I had a friend who was in the skincare field and he used one of their products on me and I was hooked.

Try Paula's Choice. And IMO NO skincare product used topically is going to be a miracle worker. it's all bull$hit.

Re: Honest opinions on Rodan & Fields?
Well obviously I'm not unbiased as I sell it, but all the same lol
Most of the pictures that we use are outside clinical trials so they are not enhanced nor is it a trick of light. The only ones that I use that are not clinical trials are my personal results.
It's like anything else, it works for some and not for others- depends on what your needs are- and also a lot of changes are subtle so taking a picture before starting use is a good idea and then comparing 60 days in.
All products carry a 60-day money-back guarantee even if the container is completely empty.
It might seem pricey but if you break down the cost- typical set is $150, lasts 3-4 months, and is 4 pieces, it comes out to about the same price of Clinique.
So really with the money back guarantee, there is nothing to lose- try it!
