hope its ok that i post this story..

im just a lurker but wanted to share this story that i heard yesterday..this is the gist of it w/o giving away too many personal details..

my co worker who is in her mid 30s, was married and tried to get pregnant..after 11 miscarriages and tons of meds and treatments (totally heartbreaking) on septemeber 11 2001 she was ovulating and due to the days events obviously did not want to do the deed..her hubby convinced her to do it and he said if it didnt work this time they would take a short break to recharge there batteries..
by some miracle on septemeber 11, she conceived..... tell ing me this story i was sooo happy for her, especially after reading about many of ur struggless, this pregnancy stuck and its totally cute b/c she calls her son her "million dollar baby"..

i just wanted to post an inspirational story b/c i asked her after 11 miscarriages how in the world did she go on and keep trying??

she said that after awhile she obviously would try not to become attached and had to keep the faith that somehow one day it would work out..

Wow, what a brave girl to suffer all that and continue to try. It's great that she has the baby she has always wanted (love the nickname too!) Nice story
