Hoping to join you, and hoping to stay
Hi, everyone,
I got my BFP last week and am almost six weeks along. I just wanted to introduce myself. I hope that I won't drive everyone crazy with super-neurotic questions, but I must confess that super-neurotic questions are my speciality.
Right now, predictably enough, my main concern is whether or not the pregnancy will stick. I haven't even told my family yet... only DH knows. Not telling my mother is driving me nuts, but she's been waiting a long time for a grandchild, and I don't want to get her hopes up and then break her heart if something happens.
I've had some of the big symptoms so far... nausea, food aversions, aversions to certain smells, and utter exhaustion. I've been sleeping a LOT! Also, I feel completely apathetic about my job... I feel like I'm just forcing myself to "go through the motions."
Anyway, I hope you are all doing well... and I look forward to chatting with you...
