Horrible- People are nuts-- I volunteer for the Freeport Animal Shelter
and the other night I was there and there was this adorable jack Russel terrier that was new there and he kept bringing me his toys he just wanted to play.. So i asked one of the full timers when did he get here. He says last night, someone tossed him out of their car window on the meadowbrook pkwy.. A motorist saw it and called the police...
The police said this what the Meadowbrook is known for its sad...
Why would you do that, jsut give the puppy uppppppp....

I'm having an emotional day, I know, but I'm sobbingreading this and looking at that picture.
What the he11 is wrong with people?
Do they not have souls?
I fear for our future.
I really do.
Getting rid of your pet is bad enough- but to throw it out the window and leave it for dead? How do you sleep at night?
I'd like 5 minutes alone with those bastards.
I truly do.
When I think of the tears I cried for my cat when she died, when I think of the love and emotion I feel for my cats...and then there are people that dont' even care about their pets...
I am sure he will get a great new home though! He's better off.

We are just moving into our house this weekend and i truly wished we had another month or so but i feel so bad for this little guy. I really hope my husband reconsiders because he doesn't want "an older dog" but he says he is cute. He is just worried about vet bills which I do not blame him but he is so cute!!!!!

GRRR! I really just can't believe that people can be so cruel to animals!! It really makes me so angry. i'm sure you already checked, but i have to ask - was he microchipped so you can track the evil person down? i'm sure he wasn't. it would be too easy.

Oh my goodness....I am so sad right now! How can you be a human being and treat an animal that way! Especially a pet! One that probably loved you to death!!! It's bad enough that you are going to give it away but throwing it on the medowbrook???? SERIOUSLY! This is why i can't volunteer at a shelter. I tried and my heart was broken...so i couldn't do it anymore so sad

They will hold him for you... Oh please go get him, hes adorable..... And they make sure he has all his shots before you adopt, you can also get VIP Pet Insurance they reasonable and pay great.. I used to have them.. Im so bad Sorry, but he is so loving....

OMG, he is adorable. I will never understand why people do things like that.
My father found a blind poodle huddled in the doorway of a local deli walking home from the train station one night many years ago. The dog was very highly trained - knew so many commands and lots of tricks. The vet said he was probably some type of show dog that was abandoned when he started going blind. My parents DID try to find his owners, but no one ever claimed him. So, my parents kept him for years until he finall passed away.

Just a thought....could the dog be the people who turned him in's dog, and they are lying to make it sound believeable? Like they made up the story just to bring him there, and get sympathy so he is taken in?
Just a thought. Either way, it makes me so sad inside that people don't want their animals anymore...

I dont know.. I think the cops acutally brought him in..
Who knows either way he deserves to be with people that will just love him....
