Hospital / Nursery Tours

I know every hospital is different (and I'm not delivering on Long Island).

But I just wanted to get an idea as to when you took (or plan to take) your hospital tour?

I got all the information from my doctor last week about it , as well as other classes, etc (I can schedule it whenever I want according to my info) But I'm wondering when it a good time to do it .. ?

I'm currently 27 weeks

i asked my ob/gyn and she said it can wait til I am about 34 - 36 weeks. I am now 30 weeks, i figure that works best that way it is fresh in my mind.

I'll be 30 weeks when we go for ours (it's orientation, so I guess that's the same thing).

I believe that I took mine at around 34 weeks.

I'm taking mine next week. I'll be 32 weeks.

I am now 32 weeks. I am taking my baby care class on August 2. They incorporate the tour in that class. I guess that means I will be 34 weeks?

i took a childbirth ed course at almost 30 weeks...just b/c we could not make the next months class and the following is two days before I am due..and we had the tour then - i think they suggest you try to do it anywhere from 32-36 weeks....

I went to the doc last week (26 weeks) and he gave me a pre-registration postcard. He said to mail it in....I figure that's how they will contact me about all the classes/tours.

We have mine on 8/2/06 and I will be just about 33 weeks then.
