Hospital Admin. jobs
There have been a couple of jobs that I'm REALLY interested in at the local hospitals but I can't even get an interview. I don't have Medical office experience but I have plenty of Admin. experience. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting in at a hospital for an Admin. job without medical office experience? Thanks!

Hi.
I think there is something about hospitals for these types of jobs that you need to "know" someone. I have tons of admin experience (including medical) and I was never able to get an interview either. Even while I was in nursing school !

It stinks!!! I thought I would of at least got an interview by now. This is with one of Duke's hospitals and I worked with the Duke University Medical Center for 2.5 years. I thought that would have helped. I guess not!

I work in Nursing administration in NY. I would have never been considered if a phone call wasn't made for me. It's really tough to get in from the outside, trust me.
