Re: hospital bag - what do i need again?
I got a list from one of the formula companies and just packed a few days ago.
I packed: 4 prs underwear that I will throw away if need be, 1 pr PJs that button down the front, nursing bra, 1 pr socks to wear home together with an outfit for me to wear home (sweats - I want to be comfy), 1 robe for walking the hallways, 2 prs socks w/ rubber feet to walk around in, 1 gender neutral outfit for baby to wear home together w/ socks & a hat. I also have a plastic bag w/ travel size toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, a hairbrush and hair ties, pads (nursing and maxi).

Re: hospital bag - what do i need again?
The only thing I'd add to D's (above Poster)'s list is:
another pair of PJ's (in case you are in for more than 2 days and/or if they get stained)
A book to read
Pictures to focus on during delivery
A stuffed animal or sign for baby's little crib so your guests can distinguish who they from the glass.
Also the hospital does supply maxi/nursing pads but they are big, so you may want to bring your own like op said.
Lastly my hospital gave awesome non-stick socks
Definitely need slippers too

i thought for vaginal delivery, the stay at the hospital is 2 days. i guess it's better to be prepared.

Re: hospital bag - what do i need again?
yeah I don't know if I am going to pack everything on that list....but I am going off of it as a guide. We live close to the hospital, so I can always send my DH for something if I need it!
