Hot Halloween Moms

Check in time. How was everyone's first week.
Mine wasn't all that great. I haven't gotten myself back to the gym. MIL is in town. Having company throws everything off for me.
Next week will be better though, I feel determined.

I am down 1.5lbs. I didn't get out for walks as much as I would've liked to b/c I broke out in a rash from an allergic reaction to a stretch mark cream I used so I was homebound and itchy for most of the week. I need to increase my water intake as well. I have 8.5 lbs to go to get to my goal.

Well I went back to ww for the first time in over a month and only gained .4. I was SO HAPPY! I thought I had gained it all back but realized I must have changed my eating habits no matter what.

I am doing very well this week so far. Focusing on water and cutting carbs a bit. Yesterday I felt great, today I am a little dizzy. I think its time for me to have a piece of toast. Chat Icon

I did OK. I get weighed on Sunday monring, so I'll go by that. I lost 1/2 pound. I'm not extremely happy about it because I wasn't logging as I should have been, but I walked a lot more and I even did my Core Secrets video twice.

Ah I just posted on Diet & Fitness. I made lifetime WWers today (-25.4lbs).

I haven't been doing as well with the excercising as I should be. Will definitely have to work on it.

i did okay this week. I lost 1.5 lbs baby steps i guess.

I def have to kick up the exercising this week, it's just been so yicky hot the last couple days to take the girls out for walks!!! I love the fall and this weather is the pits!!

Been doing okay...made it to the gym last night & going back tonight. Made the decision if I can't make it to the gym I'll rollerblade the 2 miles like I used to.

Drinking a lot of water....eating better but not great.

Down 1 lb (better than nothing)

we will be joining the YMCA as a family, so I'll be able to use the gym! I'm so excited to try to get back to how I looked in my HM pics!

Not so great.I've been super stressed trying to find a pt job, dealing with my DS acting up in class.
I haven't gotten any walking or water drinking in but I have done some weight workouts.
So far no weight loss. Still working on cutting out sugar. Baby steps I guess.

I guess we all have to remember that any effort we make is better than no effort. That's what I keep telling myself. I lost 25 lbs about a year ago and have basically maintained that (up and down the same 5 lbs) and for me that is huge! So I keep reminding myself that if I didn't watch what I ate at all and didn't ever exercise I would have gained that back, so any little bit does help.
Hopefully next week is better for all of us. We've got 5 weeks to go!! We can do this.

As for me...I returned to WW this morning. So, for me, I sort of consider today the first day of this endevour. Besides staying within points range, I am also going to focus on the water this week. Hopefully I'll have a happy (and eventful) update next week!

I know how you feel. Have you thought about Weight Watchers?



I did it to lose weight for my wedding. I lost almost 40 pounds then. I really should go back. I think the meetings really helped me.

Me too Moe - so I am not counting what the scale says.

But I have been walking 3 miles for the past 3 days. And plans to do so again tomorrow.

Hopefully when AF goes away - the scale will say something that is worth posting Chat Icon

Pretty good but I could have done better...

Down 3 lbs.

The good... definitely eating smaller portions, more fruit and veggies. Going to yoga tonight... first time in a few years even though I'm really tired.

Need to improve... water intake. Yesterday and today, I chugged when they were napping.
Didn't walk nearly as much as I wanted to.

The bad... Had a few cheats... 7-11 cappucinos are loaded with sugar but I had a smaller size and filled it halfway with skim milk. Last night, rainbow cookiesChat Icon
