Hotel near Dutch wonderland/Strasburg railroad area
We are going to a day out with Thomas and Dutch wonderland in September with my Dh's family (MIL FIL 2 SILs and 2 nephews and my family of 4 ...haha
I suggestion the Best Western Eden to them and they didn't seemed like they wanted to go that route...too expensive for them
I would love to stay there from all the revs on here and the website looks really nice....but I *guess I have to go with majority rules...I am pretty sure they just want to go to the cheapest one they can find no matter what...but I rather not stay a a flea bag motel for 3 nights if I don't have to...
Any suggestions on where I can stay that is cheap AND nice ..we would need 3 rooms and breakfast included would be a big bonus for my DH Only thing he is asking for...haha
Thanks

We stayed at Hampton Inn Lancaster 2 weekends ago and had a great time. The outdoor pool is heated and they have a free hot breakfast in the morning. It's close to everything you want to do. We had a great trip.

We just got back and we stayed at the Contenintal Inn, its walking distance to Dutch Wonderland. It was good for us we have 3 kids, 2 being twins.

Eden Resort has their September dates posted right now and nights are as low as $89. Not sure if that's still too expensive, but it's a pretty good deal.

I looked and was getting double that. But I will def look again...it is def the nicest in the area!
..I gues bec it is the one weekend in the fall that is "A day out with Thomas" So I bet they probably jacked up the prices!

Ah, that could be why.
Also, Sunday through Wednesdays seem to have the best prices.
We booked our trip and it averages to about $109 a night or maybe 99 a night, I forgot which. Cheaper than some of the other hotels in the area so that's good!
