Re: Hotels in Las Vegas
mmm we stayed at the Tropicana because it is fairly central and the prices were good.
Next time I would like to try somewhere more up-scale but this was good for the price.

Re: Hotels in Las Vegas
I've stayed at the Luxor twice, Mandalay Bay and now DH and I are staying at the Bellagio this July for our anniversary. I'd recommend all of them.

Re: Hotels in Las Vegas
We stayed at the Bellagio for our HM and it was nothing short of amazing BUT expensive.
We've also stayed at the Aladdin (highly recommend it) and the Stardust (wouldn't recommend it)
If you're not looking for fancy I wouldn't stay a the Bellagio or Venitian (they're known for their "glitz and glamour" IMHO plus, it's expensive).

Bellagio and Venetian are really nice but $$$. You may want to look into MGM. It's very nice as well and not too pricey.

Re: Hotels in Las Vegas
I loved the Aladdin and it was a lot cheaper than places like the Bellagio and the Venetian (even though they are both AMAZING, they are )
The Flamingo or Ballys would probably be a bit cheaper as well and they are located centrally on the strip -
Excalibur and Luxor are nice as well, close to Mandalay Bay

Re: Hotels in Las Vegas
I've stayed at the Rio which really nice, all the rooms are suites, and fairly inexpensive. They have mardi-gras everyday too, which is fun....
I've also stayed at the Venetian which is gorgeous!

Re: Hotels in Las Vegas
We went to the Mirage a few years ago and it was very nice. Treasure Island is next door and shares ammenities and always seems a little less expensive then Mirage. SO we are going to try there next.

We stayed at the MGM Grand. It was very nice, and not as expensive as the Bellagio.

Re: Hotels in Las Vegas
I stayed at Treasure Island years ago and it was nice. DH and I stayed at Luxor in the pyramid for our HM and it was awesome, we were the 25th floor in the pyramid overlooking the strip with a nice jacuzzi tub to sit in overlooking the strip. The food in their restaurants was awesome..especially the steakhouse. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the hotels on the strip, they are all unique and have cool themes. Just make sure you hotel hop for next time!!

I've stayed at MGM Grand, Bally's and NY NY. I definitely like MGM the best, they have an awesome spa and good restaurants. I would love to stay at Bellagio one day, but the others were more in our budget at the time.

We have stayed at the Paris Las Vegas and the Monte Carlo. Both were beautiful. Sign up online to get offers sent to your email and you will get a great rate. Both times I went my room was around $79.

Re: Hotels in Las Vegas
I stayed at the Monte Carlo when I went over 5 years ago...but I cannot remember at all what we paid for the rooms. It's a nice hotel but not all the glitz and glamour as all the newer hotels that are popping up...so, it's probably a lot cheaper.

Re: Hotels in Las Vegas
if you want to stay on the strip for a cheap price i would say Excalibur........ .....but the one i really recomend (and its only alittle more) is the Luxor. the Tower rooms are alittle more but def worth it.
