Hotels in Montauk..
DH and I would like to stay in Montauk for the weekend of our anniversary. Any good suggestions, besides Gurneys? A friend of mine suggested the Ocean Resort Inn. Any others?

The condo is directly on the beach, 2 levels with 2 balconies & fire place!!

I loved Montauk Manor...we went in September and got a duplex room (two floors, living room, kitchen, terrace, etc) and it was awesome!

I've stayed at the Montauk Manor and it was beautiful. Has anyone used their spa?

I have stayed in ALOT of the motels there. This summer my husband and I stayed at Ocean Beach which was nice. I would def. stay again. I have stayed at the Montauk Manor which is beautiful but pricey and not in the town. Royal Atlantic is very nice too they have motels and condos. They are all ok

im been going to Montauk every year since I was 7 this is a list of which hotels are the best IMO and in the order in which i like them
1.)Montauk Manor
2.)Gurneys
3.)Surf Club
4.)Royal Atlantic

i grew up in montauk and i'd have to agree that this is pretty close! 1 other that i'd add to the list is Montauk Yacht Club.
But it all depends on what you want. If you want to be in town, than #3 & #4 are your best bet because you can walk from your motel to town very easily. If you want a place that has a restaurant, bar, spa, exercise room, etc... then Gurneys is your best bet. #4 is the cheaper of the options, but still very nice.

You may want to look into the Panoramic, Beach Plum, Beachcomber...there is also a cute B&B, I think it is called the Sunrise B&B, maybe, I've stayed there and it was cute. Plus there is a hot tub in the back yard!

The Paneramic is great! Right next to Gurney's (same beach basically) and comfy rooms. It's not over the top, you feel so far removed from LI when you are there

The company I work for manages a lot of resorts/motels between East Hampton and Montuak. Surf Club is my favorite.
