Hotels on East End near Wineries
Dh and I and another couple are planning a weekend at the wineries out East. Does anyone have recommendations of mid to larger sized hotels/places to stay? We dont want to do the bed and breakfast thing.
TIA!

I think most places to stay out east are going to be motels or B&B's. In Riverhead there is a Holiday Inn and a Best Western. There is also a Hilton opening soon. You could also try East Wind or The Jebediah Hawkins Inn.

I stayed at the Best Western when a good friend of mine got married at Giorgios. It was nice, your typical large chain hotel.

The Holiday Inn is only 3 years old, its clean and new. We stayed there on our wedding night the year it opened b/c we got married out there.
