Hotels.com
Anyone use hotels.com to book a hotel before?
They offer really good prices compared to booking directly through the hotel and I was wondering if anyone used them before?
Thanks, Scott

Re: Hotels.com
Odd - Compared to hotels.com, expedia and other discount sites the Hyatts website is cheaper. Scott

Re: Hotels.com
At most chains you should find the almost same price on expedia and the third party sites as you would on the hotel's site. Unless they are running a special promotion with the site.
Hotel's would rather you book on their own site bc the cost to them is almost free where as an expedia reservation costs them 17% of the room rate.

Re: Hotels.com
I found the packages on hotels.com to be cheaper than expedia or other travel sites. I've booked 2 trips w/ them.

Re: Hotels.com
we've booked through them and had no problem
also always check the hotel website first, I found sometimes booking directly with the hotel is the cheapest

Re: Hotels.com
We ended up booking through the hotel. It was only a $20 difference in price per night.
