Hotsling users

I am trying to use my hotsling for the first time with my 3 week old and I feel like his chin is pressed down to his chest but I dont know how to change it. Here is a pic of him in it so you can see what I mean...am I not wearing it right?

Re: Hotsling users

Have you tried folding up a towel and putting it under him? It kind of props them up more.

Re: Hotsling users

maybe you should lower him a little - lower the sling and him.
He would have more 'flat' area to lie on and wouldn't have to slouch so much.

Re: Hotsling users

It might look uncomfortable to us, but that is the way the baby is used to being in the womb. DS sat in his sling like that also and was perfectly content.

Re: Hotsling users

your baby's fine. when he was in yoru belly jstu a few wks ago he was even more balled up. your baby's fine and very comfortable. esp being taped to you. i felt wierd wearing my sling the first sum times, too. it certainly takes a while to get used to. my ds was always snug and peaceful looking. it's just us being nervous mommies.

Re: Hotsling users

Thanks ladies cause I was so afraid I was doing some damage to my poor DS. The sling is the best cause I can get so much done!
