housebreaking & carpet?
Okay so jedi is 5 months old and pretty much potty trained to go outside.
However, we discovered today that Jedi can jump over the baby gate and had free roam of the house today for about an hour and a half. Boy do i wish i had a video camera taping that!
But the problem is that downstairs (where we keep him mostly) is wood flooring. Upstairs is carpet. Well jedi seems to think that the carpet is a free for all!!
So how do we train him not to go to the bathroom on the carpet???

Re: housebreaking & carpet?
hmmm, not sure since I only have small area rugs, but I buy a lot of Nature's Miracle for when accidents do happen, to eliminate the scent if he is just marking.....
Sorry I wish I had better advice!

Re: housebreaking & carpet?
There are sprays you can buy. I think the one we tried was called "no go". It has no scent to humans but apparently the dog smells it and won't make where it's sprayed.

Re: housebreaking & carpet?
We didn't spray our carpet with anything...we just took her outside everytime she had an accident on the carpet...(95%) of my house is carpeted...so we were outside with her a lot.

Re: housebreaking & carpet?
Bruno is 6 years old and unfortunately still likes to go on the carpet. Luckily we have wood on the main floor and carpet only in the basement where he is not allowed to go. I obviously have no advice but
