Housecleaning tip I discovered

With all of the dog fur and dust I go threw so many swiffer clothes. I discovered that used Bounce dryer sheets work awesome at capturing all of the dust and fur. Very economical too!Chat Icon Chat Icon

I use the bounce sheets too on my blinds. Works great.

And also the dog when he comes back from a walk and got rained on. No wet doggie smell

Re: Housecleaning tip I discovered

also - if you want to get pet hair off your sofa or chair cushions - put on a pair of yellow dishwashing gloves and rub your hands on the cushions - they work like a charm - it's weird!!!!! the pet hair sticks to them.

Instead of using Windex for any glass cleaning, I use rubbing alcohol. Much cheaper and cleans just as well, if not better.Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Housecleaning tip I discovered

another good thing for pet hair is a spray bottle with fabric softner and water. Let dry and vacuum. I do this all the time.

I have a good one. Sometimes I forget the laundry in the washer, for a day or two..... When it gets that smell, just re-wash it w/ 1/4 cup (or more if it's REALLY bad) of white vinegar, and POOF the smell is gone!!Chat Icon

Also what works great:

do the windows on a cloudy day. The sun wont dry the liquid so quickly and give streaks.

white vinegar and newspaper. I have a spray bottle with vinegar and use that on both inside and outside the windows.

Cleans it so good it looks like their is no window.

In the bowl, let them sit for like 6 hours (like over night or while you are out) then when you come home, scrub le toilette et voila...a cleaner toilet you will never have seen!
