How accurate are due dates?

Did it land the same week, weeks before or weeks after for you?

i think that usually the due dates are pretty accurate, it just depends on when peanut decides to come out and play!


my due date that my dr. gives is 3 days earlier then i what i estimate and i know pretty much to the day when i conceived.

I've heard that less than 10% of babies are born on their due date.

That being said most due dates are calculated wrong.

The doctors assume every woman is based on a 28 day schedule. Even with IVF, my cycle was not 28 days. I didn't "ovulate" until day 19 that's when the eggs were fertilized, they were transferred back on Day 21 and probably implanted on Day 25 or 26.

Much more accurate if you chart and know the date of ovulation and implantation. My BF corrected her doctor and she was right!

They won't change mine, but I can almost guarantee I won't hit mine.
