How accurate is CM in predicting ovulation and your fertlie period?
Let's say that is the only thing you are looking at. Is this an accurate way to determine when you are fertile?

For me, this month no...I had little or no EWCM when I got the +OPK. Then at the next bathroom break I got a lot. Before I started to take the Mucinex during the time before O, I never really saw EWCM

For me, at times it is right on target and other months it is off by about 5 or so days. So I don't think it is too accurate. That was the only method I was using for the 7 months and I switched to OPK's this month.

It is not accurate at all for me. I can get EWCM many times during a cycle. Because of PCOS I always have an elevated level of LH, which causes the EWCM to appear. So I get it even though I am not ovulating.

Not for me. I just got a +OPK and I haven't had any CM.

I don't think it's totally accurate. Some people don't have enough CM and you can get the CM and not ovulate from what I understand. I think it's a good indicator but I wouldn't use it as a rule.

For me, it was accurate. I temped and tracked my CM for almost 3 years to prevent pregnancy...and then used the same method to get pregnant.

I only noticed it 2 times in over a year and a half of TTC. I think it CAN be an indicator but not always. I am sure there are plenty of women who dont even give it a second thought and still get PG.

100% accurate for me. It's what I used to get pregnant the first time and it's what I"m doing this time again.
