Re: how are all the feb mom doing.
I started getting everything ready for the baby. I've been cleaning like crazy.
I want to freeze a few meals over the next week.

Re: how are all the feb mom doing.
Hey fellow Feb. mamas, I feel like I have so much to do (I'm warning you, my list is scary):
1. Finish painting the walls to the nursery (DH ran out of paint for one corner of the room) 2. Get carpet in nursery cleaned 3. Hang chandelier 4. Find wall border 5. Find curtains and hang 6. Call furniture people to have it delivered in the first week of Feb. 7. Clean everything!!! 8. Get storage shelves for closet and wall
I'm interviewing a pediatrician on Mon. so that makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something. I feel like I'll be in a much better position once this nursery gets more under way. It still feels like a lot to do.
Oh, and I really need to get some nursing bras/tops.

That's awesome!!!! I'm thinking you will be. Even if you don't for another week or 2 you still have plenty of time for the baby to make it's debut in Jan.

Re: how are all the feb mom doing.
I was doing pretty good up until now, but I'm not sure how I'm going to make these last few weeks. I have so much pain and pressure that I'm completly miserable. My ankles have swelled up to be tree trunks. But the good news is that I'm all ready for the baby to come. Rooms ready, clothes ready, car seats ready, and I'm definatly ready. Just need the littlr one to be ready.

Re: how are all the feb mom doing.
We just got the wood floors in the nursery done, but are not getting new windows until the 21st and then 5 days later we will get the furniture. I have all the stuff from the shower sitting in my living room. It looks like a disaster area and is giving me heart palpitations. I am due 2/16 and the baby's estimated weight as of today was 5 pounds 14 ounces

Re: how are all the feb mom doing.
I have all of her clothes ready to go... The car seat was installed by the FD yesterday, and safety people will be @ BRU on Tuesday, so I'm going to have it triple checked. Her room isn't done yet (as we are looking at houses right now), but her bassinet is ready to go in my room. Her swing is up, her bottles and binkies are all sterilized, and her baby bag is ready to go for the hospital. I know that you don't need to pack one, but I don't want her clothes rubbing up against my clothes. I want to keep them seperate.
I still have yet to pack my clothes. I need to have the carpets cleaned. I need to work on the room which may be hers in case we don't find a suitable house.
Now my nervousness falls in that the doctor said that she is 4lbs 10oz.... and her estimated birth weight will be 6 - 6.5 lbs.... Will her clothes and the NB diapers that I have fit her?????????????

Re: how are all the feb mom doing.
I actually am starting to feel better thatn I have in the last few weeks. I can tell he's moved down because I don't have that "my stomach is in my thoat" feeling anymore. I do feel pressure down there and get BH, but sporadically.
His room is ready except for the letters I ordered (in October and she STILL hasn't sent them to me ).
We still haven't set up the car seat, but that will be this week.
I will be packing my bag (or starting to) this week.
I still need a pediatrician, but have narrowed it down to two of them.
Oh, yeah, and I think the internals start this week..

Re: how are all the feb mom doing.
Hmmm... let's see. We had my shower last weekend. This weekend my mom is helping me to wash EVERYTHING and put everything away. I can't BELIEVE how many things we got. Now everything needs a home.
My legs are tree trunks. My feet resemble Miss Piggy. My heartburn has only be recently relieved by Zantac (thank goodness I figured out something that works!). My stretch marks are UGLY (but I make DH tell me he thinks they're sexy). Oh, and the baby "dropped" --so along with my pants now fitting funny, I noticed my hips/thighs/butt have increased in size. Geez, the baby is apparently not the ONLY thing that DROPS.
3 weeks to go. I'm 37 weeks tomorrow. I gave up "taking it easy". I'm now moving furniture, eating spicy food and begging DH for constant lovin'.

Re: how are all the feb mom doing.
Doing really well actually. With DS at this point (35/36 weeks) I was miserable, swollen and had hypertension. I was very tired this week but have gotten some energy back.
I still have things to do:
Get the PNP ready for occupancy. Write my call list out. Pack my hospital bag. Wash some more clothes for DC. I would like to make a few meals to freeze this week so I'll have stuff to wat quick (we'll see if I really do it).
I stopped working on Wednesday due to the drive and so I'm home with DS (almost 2 years old) so that takes up a lot of time. I went through his clothes this week to make sure he has what he needs.
Overall feeling nervous, anxious and excited all in the same thought.
